The Eßlinger Zeitung Run is an annual running festival taking place on July 6, 2025, in the historic streets of Esslingen, attracting participants of all ages. The event includes KSK children's races for the youngest participants, AOK school races for schoolchildren, as well as a main race over 10 kilometers, which starts at 10:30 AM. At this anniversary event, held for the 25th time, there are not only athletic challenges but also a very special atmosphere for runners and spectators.
Highlights
- The course of the main race runs right through the historic old town of Esslingen, partly over cobblestones, and is officially measured.
- All participants will receive medals and certificates, and the awards ceremony will take place approximately one and a half hours after the last participant finishes the main race.
- Changing rooms and showers are available in the Georgii Sports Hall to ensure participants have a pleasant stay.
